Yellowstone Park,
2004
Gary,
Pauline,
Jan,
Mike,
Kendal and Kris took a
winter tour of Yellowstone Park December 29 and 30.
We stopped at a number of thermal features on the
way in and out,
and stopped to see animal life.
We spotted several Golden Eagles,
coyotes,
bison
herds and elk herds.

On the way to Yellowstone,
we saw two
mountain sheep beside the road.
They butted
heads a few times then walked away.

Nature hike to the Madison River:
it would freeze over without all the
hot water it receives from Yellowstone.
|
Of course,
the rangers tell you not to do this...
|
Bison slowed us down a bit when they decided to
take to the road.
