Comparison of 2006 versus 2004

These shots are from approximately the same location, looking North. However, the fact that the new house is 2' shorter resulted in the 2006 (upper) picture being taken a few feet to the West of where the 2004 (lower) one was taken when the mountains behind were lined up on a reference point near the western (left) end of the roof. The difference in height is readily apparent, but the concrete skirt (right end of the house) adds to the visual effect of lower height. A similar effect would be apparent in the lower photo once the skirt was added. We think the reduced height does make for a better appearance.
