The lower platform has not been relocated. Note the rope to keep visitors off the spring's incursion. Also note the broken tree a short distance from the platform.

The platform was truncated to keep people out of the hot water. The broken tree is a bit further away now.
November, 2007
The platform has been eliminated. This picture is at a slightly different angle, but the broken tree is still visible. One can also see the difference at the base of the two dead trees beyond it compared to 2005.
