20 Sep 2005
Pouring the Entry Slab; the slab is colored concrete that will be textured and cut to give the appearance of large stone tiles. Work started at 6am and the long shadows indicate that it is still early.

20 Sep 2005
Placing a boulder in the Master Patio Slab; some boulders are partly in and partly out of the slab and some are totally in. These make nice places to sit and will integrate with boulders in the landscaping.

20 Sep 2005
More timber work for the Great Room. A representative from Montana Idaho Log and Timber dropped by to see how we were using the timbers; he told us the main timbers were cut from trees 340 years old and 42" in diameter.

20 Sep 2005
Placing boulders in the South Patio; same placement philosophy as the Master Patio.

20 Sep 2005
Prepping timbers for finishing

20 Sep 2005
Panorama from near Attila's Throne. The stone work makes the house blend in. Still a lot of regrading to do, though.

29 Sep 2005
The doors to Gary's office, waiting to be installed.

29 Sep 2005
New garage doors are installed and the knee braces are in place for the balcony.

29 Sep 2005
John, Lars, Chris and Dan (finish carpenter) in the north bedroom.
