Main House Progress — August, 2006

I have added a compass direction to the site photos so people can tell what direction the camera is pointed and get a better idea of the layout.

08 Aug 2006 – Victor, MT
Southern-most Great Room arch, as it would be seen looking to the southeast.
21 Aug 2006 – NW
Framing bosses Lars and Paul get started laying out things to make sure the house will be "square" (i.e., the walls will be straight and the corners will be 90°).
24 Aug 2006 – WNW
Paul prepares to lay down the first lumber.

28 Aug 2006 – WNW
The first wall goes up. This one is first because the power panel will mount on it.
29 Aug 2006 – ESE
More walls go up. What a clean work site!
30 Aug 2006 – WSW
The western-most lower wall is framed. The doors and patio have been replaced by a window.
