09 August 2007 – S We hired a friend to do regrading to prepare for landscaping. One advantage of this is that he allows Gary to drive the front-loading Bobcat while he operates the excavator. The East (left) part of the front is almost ready for a little topsoil now. |

14 August 2007 – S Regrading immediately in front of the house is complete. The gravel coming from the Entry Patio will be covered by concrete. At the bottom right of the picture are fence posts Gary is preparing. The air is quite poor due to forest fires northwest of us. There are more fires to the southeast; the closest is about 36 miles away. |
